Are you an experienced book-keeper, accountant or tax professional (3-4 years experience in a similar role) with excellent communication skills?

Client Accountant (Accountancy Practice)
* Competent in all aspects compliance work (Book-keeping, VAT, Payroll, Accounts Preparation, Tax Returns and Annual Returns)
* Experienced in dealing with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients
* Able to solely prepare accurate full statutory accounts from start to finish for partner’s review
* Comfortable with client relation management and understand that this is a core part of the firm’s culture
* Able to support clients with their profitability reporting analysis
* Able to deal with new enquiries appropriately and use a prescribed format to collate details of prospective clients for the client manager to follow up
* Able to communicate with clients and deal with all basic tax queries
* Experienced in carrying out clients’ book-keeping work via Freeagent, Xeroor other online platform and in ensuring all deadlines are met
* Able to manage and handle a portfolio of clients after engagement, to admin and on boarding checklists and service delivery up-to accounts preparation stage
* Experience in going beyond the number crunching to proactively monitor and analyze clients’ financials and refer any planning opportunities, technical issues to the partner.
* Able to carry out the above tasks with little or no supervision
